Prominent jewelry showroom For Future Reference is diving further into the art of the sale.
The bicoastal company, headed by Meaghan Flynn and Randi Molofsky, opened its first boutique today in Hudson, N.Y.
Located at 426 Warren Street, the 700-square-foot store stocks designs by For Future Reference’s roster of clients as well as a selection of emerging jewelry labels and estate pieces. An assortment of vintage clothes, handbags, jewelry and home décor will also join the mix.
The duo has developed two signature scents to be sold at the store, packaged in the form of candles and perfume.

Featured jewelry designers include Retrouvaí, Brent Neale, Sorellina, Established, ARK and Sarah Hendler, amongst others. For some designers, the boutique represents their first stockist outside of New York City.
“Since sales are in my blood, I’ve always wanted to be able to connect on an even closer level with our retail clients, while creating a one-of-a-kind selection of merchandise that will hopefully speak to a fun-loving, fashion-conscious customer,” Flynn, a part-time Hudson resident, said of the store’s concept.
Molofsky added of the venture: “We wanted it to be extremely authentic and offer a different vibe from the retail partners we already work with. Our goal is to create another community, like our FFR agency, that connects people, highlights beautiful things, and hopefully brings a fun, offbeat sensibility.”
