GARAGE GIG: Garage magazine editor in chief Dasha Zhukova has handed Giorgio Pace two new roles at the company. He has been named commercial adviser for Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and publisher at large for Garage magazine. The latter is a newly created role at the contemporary art and fashion publication.
His job includes building relationships with partners for special projects at the museum, and developing new engagement strategies, advertising and developing collaborations for the magazine’s digital app.
Pace took up his new role earlier this month, and is based at Garage magazine’s London office in High Street Kensington.
Prior to joining Garage, Pace launched Giorgio Pace Projects, an agency that pairs luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Cartier, Rick Owens and Moët-Hennessy with corporate sponsors. Pace was the advertising director for CR Fashion Book in 2012, and has had roles with publications including V magazine, Visionaire and V Man.
“I am looking forward to creating some fantastic new partnerships and raising funds to enhance the unique programs each venture has already established,” Pace said.
Garage magazine is published twice a year by Zhukova and has a circulation of 90,000.
