POP-UP: The fourth edition of the Harrods Village pop-up series opened its doors on Friday in Doha, Qatar, realized in collaboration with the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), and will run through Jan. 24.
Located within Doha’s Katara Cultural Village, the design concept was conceived by Italian architect Gio Pagani, who also collaborated on the first three editions in Sardegna, Italy. Featuring simple shapes and streamlined structures in glass and steel, the 69,96-square-foot area hosts 14 luxury brand boutiques including Audi, Bentley, Buccellati, Graff Diamonds, Chopard and Ferrari.
“The goal for this ambitious village was to create a really unique space that enhances the environment, adds a desirable ‘wow’ factor, and highlights each luxury brand within a contrasting unexpected temporary space, turning what was originally an anonymous space into one of the world’s most desirable shopping experiences,” said Pagani.
