PARIS — Hennes & Mauritz AB said sales in comparable units rose by 6 percent in September following a 4 percent drop the previous month.
Group sales including VAT in local currencies jumped 15 percent compared to September 2011. In the same month last year, H&M had reported sales in comparable units were down 7 percent, and sales in local currencies rose 3 percent.
The Swedish fast-fashion giant did not provide any details on the sales figures.
The store count stood at 2,669 on Sept. 30 versus 2,363 stores on Sept. 30, 2011.
