Macy’s is keeping 12 stores open around the clock until 6 p.m. Thursday. It’s the fourth consecutive year that Macy’s has pulled all-nighters at select locations, indicating that increased sales through extended hours outweigh the costs of operating day and night. Stores at Herald Square in Manhattan; Roosevelt Field in Garden City, N.Y.; Queens Center in Elmhurst, N.Y.; Yonkers, N.Y.; Tysons Corner, Va.; Staten Island Mall in Staten Island, N.Y.; Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, N.J.; Cherry Hill, N.J.; Schaumburg, Ill.; Troy and Novi, Mich., and Rosedale Center in Roseville, Minn., will be open around the clock. Macy’s also will keep stores open until 2 a.m. at Kings Plaza in Brooklyn, N.Y.; Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, N.Y.; Menlo Park Mall in Edison, N.J., and Newport Centre in Jersey City.
