WILD ABOUT CHOO: Jimmy Choo has unveiled “Speak Choo,” its pre-fall campaign.
Moving away from the glamorous Los Angeles setting of last season, “Speak Choo” embraces a more minimalist aesthetic.
Shot against a gray background, the campaign features models Nadja Bender and David Alexander Finn — who also modeled for the brand’s spring campaign — in a series of playful poses. Accompanying each image are corresponding statements such as “Dreaming of Choo” or “Wild About Choo,” a play on words on the company’s name.
An accompanying video features Bender dancing and strolling around in some classic pre-fall styles, including black pointed-toe pumps, metallic strappy sandals and cutout heels.
Photographer Cass Bird shot the campaign for another season.
The campaign will not feature in any print outlets, as the company plans to use the assets online and within its own stores only.
Earlier this year, Jimmy Choo marked its 20th anniversary with a renewed focus on the U.S. market, announcing reinvestment plans in its New York retail operations on Madison Avenue and SoHo and new openings in San Francisco, Chicago and King of Prussia, Pa.
