SWITCHING SIDES: First she’s back in the design room at Topshop, and now Kate Moss has joined British Vogue as a contributing fashion editor. She will work alongside Vogue’s team of stylists, which includes Lucinda Chambers, Kate Phelan and Francesca Burns, and will work with her choice of photographers and models.
Her first fashion story is to appear in an upcoming spring issue. Moss has been featured on 33 British Vogue covers and in many more inside stories, but this will be her first role on the flip side of editorial images.
Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman said that she was looking forward to working with Moss on her ideas. Praising Moss’ sense of style, Shulman added that the model’s “depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see used in the pages of British Vogue.”
