Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed Kevin Wilson interim chief financial officer.
Wilson has been with Levi’s for six years in a variety of finance capacities, including cfo of the global Dockers brand. In his new role, he reports to Chip Bergh, president and chief executive officer of Levi’s.
The appointment follows the departure in September of Blake Jorgensen to become executive vice president and cfo of Electronic Arts Inc. following three years as cfo at Levi’s. Earlier in his career, Jorgensen served as cfo of Yahoo and as chief operating officer and director of investment banking at Thomas Weisel Partners, of which he was a cofounder.
Levi’s said it has initiated a search for a permanent successor to Jorgensen.
The San Francisco-based firm is scheduled to report its third-quarter financial results on Oct. 9.
