The Kylie Cosmetics store is finally coming.
Possibly the world’s most hyped retail opening is happening on Dec. 9 at Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park, Calif., a shopping center Kylie Jenner, the reality-star-turned-budding-makeup-mogul, has been spotted not too far away from the Kardashian-Jenner stomping grounds of Calabasas. The store is designed to be temporary and last as long as supplies do.
The retail location will showcase Kylie Cosmetics’ full merchandise range from its popular matte lipstick lip kits to eye shadow palettes that were before only available online, as well as exclusive products. In anticipation of the store’s debut, the brand has been busy building momentum for the holiday shopping season with the release of an enormous holiday collection on Nov. 21.
An expert at generating buzz on social media, Jenner has been teasing the store since June. Earlier this month, she shared pictures on Instagram of the space under construction and wrote, “I can’t wait for you guys to see what goes on inside my mind.” The store has its own Instagram account, which reveals Jenner wearing lingerie and has quickly amassed more than 250,000 followers, and a web site counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until it welcomes shoppers.
