LA PERLA IN PARIS: La Perla is going to present its new Atelier Collection during the upcoming Paris couture shows. Designed by an in-house team overseen by La Perla creative director Emiliano Rinaldi, the collection will include a range of total looks reflecting the signature elements of the brand’s offering.
“We took our idea of lingerie that can be worn not only as innerwear to the extreme level,” said La Perla global marketing director Nick Tacchi. “We didn’t want to start from the elements of a ready-to-wear collection, but, remaining rooted in our tradition, we created outfits that we think women can wear not just privately.”
The collection, which will be unveiled on Jan. 26 at Paris’ Hotel Salomon de Rothschild, will also include a shoe range, realized in collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti.
After the show, the collection will be showcased in the private room on the second floor of the brand’s Parisian flagship on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where top clients will be able to place their orders. While the company’s flagships worldwide will carry the less elaborate pieces in the line, La Perla will organize special private sales in various cities across the world.
The brand, which after years of financial troubles was acquired by Pacific Global Management last June, is currently renovating its flagship on New York’s Madison Avenue, which is slated to open at the end of January.
