LONDON — L.K. Bennett, the British footwear and accessories firm, is set to launch a capsule collection designed by Caroline Issa, the publisher and fashion director of Tank magazine, WWD has learned.
An announcement is expected later this week.
The limited-edition collection features six pairs of shoes and two bags, and will be sold at L.K. Bennett flagships and the brand’s web site from Feb. 19.
There are sandals, anklestrap stilettos, shoe boots, the kitten heel, a loafer and clutch bags. embellishments include neon, Thai-inspired embroidery, flowers, zigzags and pom-poms.
“My style philosophy has always been about letting your shoes do the talking — so I tend to dress with shoes as the starting point,” said Issa.
Prices will range from 245 pounds, or $392 at current exchange, for shoes to 275 pounds, or $440, for bags. The L.K. bennett London by Caroline Issa collection will be available in the U.K., the U.S., Ireland, the Middle East, France and lkbennett.com.
