Ai for Ai: “Easy breezy” seemed to be the mantra for designing sisters Carol and Liz Ai, who presented wispy dresses and casual sportswear for their year-old line.
Ashton Michael: Ashton Hirota channeled an eco-friendly punk in the black-and-white collection that he presented.
Angel Johnson: The designer’s collection, fit for music video vixens, featured sheet metal detailing, textured vinyl, iridescence and see-through lace.
Chanteuse Lingerie: Chanteuse displayed vintage-inspired pieces such as ruched knickers in a creepy installation of an overgrown boudoir with leafless trees, moss and small stuffed animals.

Elmer Ave: The bowels of the Spring Arts Tower were enveloped in white plastic on which street scenes were projected for Elmer Ave’s installation that had three models sporting skillfully tailored vests, long shorts and pants.
Fremont: The Indian influences in designer Devin Carlson’s Fremont collection emerged subtly through the use of natural linens, vibrant pink and blue hues and lightweight layering.
ISM Mode: In her Concept Fashion Week debut, Inka Sherman tested the versatility of jersey with structured and soft elements.

MartinMartin: Models were shrouded in deconstructed sportswear cut from leather, boiled wool, silk gazar, waxed linen and web-like viscose and linen, all kept simple in a palette of black, white and cream.
MB999: Designer Maya Reynolds tailored intricate but wearable men’s sportswear, including a double-breasted silk-cotton cardigan with a tailcoat resembling a beetle’s wings.
Mike Vensel: Mike Vensel added texture to jersey and silk chiffon dresses with leather vests, chevron stripes and contrast stitching.
Sue Wong: Sue Wong’s muses for long gowns and short cocktail dresses festooned with intricate beading, feathers and lacework were silver-screen sirens.
Skingraft: Designer Jonny Cota softened his signature armor-like leather jackets with silk and jersey in his African-inspired collection.
Valerj Pobega: The designer turned the phrase “black flowers blossom” from a Massive Attack song into seven gowns of taffeta and crinkled chiffon that were made less precious with splashes of black paint.
