PARIS — French lingerie company Maison Lejaby has named Jean d’Arthuys to replace Alain Prost as president.
Prost took over the ailing brand in 2012 with a consortium made up of Tunisian lingerie manufacturer Isalys and Christian Bugnon, the son of a former ceo of Lejaby. Prost will remain a “significant shareholder” of the company, the firm said in a statement Thursday.
D’Arthuys, 48, comes from French venture capital fund Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement (“FSI”) where he was member of the executive committee. He is also an administrator at Sarenza, the French online retailer specializing in shoes and accessories.
The nomination is effective Sept. 1.
