LONDON — William Vintage, the luxury vintage clothing retailer, has appointed Marie Blanchet to the position of chief executive officer and director of the company.
Prior to the appointment, Blanchet headed the vintage category at Vestiaire Collective, the luxury resale e-commerce platform. At Vestiaire Collective, Blanchet helped the company grow its vintage business, increasing the category’s revenue by 525 percent in three years.
Three months ago, Vestiaire Collective appointed Maximilian Bittner as ceo.
William Vintage operates online and has a stand-alone flagship in Marylebone, London. In 2017, it joined forces with Farfetch to unveil 500 exclusive vintage Versace pieces spanning 20 years with the earliest pieces from 1977.
