Mizzen + Main is growing its assortment with chinos.
The chinos, which launch today, are made from a fabric that’s similar to the fabric used to make Mizzen + Main’s signature dress shirts, which appear to be a regular shirt but feel like performance material. The chinos retail at $135.
“We wanted to manufacture a pant with the same innovation and high-quality feel for our customers to pair with our collections,” said Kevin Lavelle, cofounder and chief executive officer of Mizzen+Main, which investors deemed a men’s wear start-up to watch.
According to Lavelle, it took two years to find the perfect fabric for the pant. The brand also sells performance Henleys, sweaters and denim.
Mizzen + Main has found a loyal consumer base among athletes including NBA player LeBron James and New Orleans Saints’ quarterback Drew Brees. NFL player J.J. Watt was recently named a brand ambassador for the company.
