MILAN — Moncler is gearing up to open its first ever stand-alone shop dedicated to its children’s wear line Moncler Enfant on Via della Spiga here. The store will open Dec. 14.
The store will sell the brand’s selection of ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear for boys and girls aged 0 to 14.
The unit, covering about 1,400 square feet, delivers a playful mood combining gray wood paneling, which appears in all the company’s boutiques, with colorful wallpaper in red, orange and pink.

A series of engraved Monducks — the brand’s signature duck character featured on the label’s tags — stands out on each panel.
The same bright hues characterize the carpeted flooring, while ivory leather details embellish the displays.
In order to offer the brand’s youngest costumers a friendly experience, the shop also has a space featuring interactive games.
To mark the opening of the boutique, which was previously carrying all the Moncler lines, an in-store event will be held Dec. 14 with a life-size Monduck character welcoming the younger attendees.

The Moncler Enfant line’s production and distribution were brought in-house starting with the spring 2014 season, marking the end of the Italian brand’s five-year joint venture with children’s wear manufacturer Altana SpA.
Last October Moncler unveiled its revamped Via Montenapoleone’s flagship, the largest in the world.
