Nicole Richie’s costume jewelry line House of Harlow 1960 has tapped Los Angeles-based “It” girl and DJ Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor as the face of its Spring and Festival collection campaigns.

The daughter of Duran Duran bassist John Taylor and his ex-wife, photographer and television host Amanda de Cadenet, de Cadenet Taylor follows in the footsteps of another famous off-spring, Kenya Kinski Jones (mom is Nastassja Kinski and dad is Quincy Jones), who fronted the spring 2016 campaign.
Creative Director Richie, herself the daughter of a famous musician, Lionel Richie, noted, “Atlanta exudes strength and individuality. She embodies the spirit of House of Harlow 1960, forging her own path and staying true to herself. This season in particular, I wanted a strong woman to represent the collection.”
De Cadenet Taylor, 24, is also a model, and last year signed as the face of Penelope Cruz’s line for Agent Provocateur.
Staying true to the brand’s eclectic inspirations, the collections offer a mix of heavily adorned and lightweight gold and silver pieces that can be layered and stacked. For spring 2017, HOH explored ethereal feather detailing, turquoise, jade and amethyst stones, and updated choker styles.
Given Richie’s rich musical roots, she decided also to offer specific pieces for music festival season, playing with statement fringe necklaces and bracelets, delicate ear jackets, and drop and satchel pendants, reminiscent of a vintage keepsake.
Richie founded House of Harlow 1960 in 2008 at Kitson boutique on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles. Today it is available globally in better department and specialty stores, including Lord & Taylor, Revolve, Amazon, Von Maur, South Moon Under as well as its own ecommerce site. Retail prices range from $28 to $225.
