HAPPY FAMILIES: Guessing which kid walking the runway belonged to a celebrity parent sitting front row was the game of choice at Bonpoint’s show on Saturday evening, in the specially decked out Orangery at Paris’ Jardin de Luxembourg.
The presentation and following 40th anniversary celebrations drew the likes of Inès de la Fressange, Sylvie Testud, Karin Viard and Karine Silla.
Silla was there to support 12-year-old daughter Tess, making her first appearance on the runway.
Tess’ dad, actor, director and photographer Vincent Perez, missed the show, however, arriving with a suitcase as guests filtered out of the venue for Champagne — or fruit juice and cherry candies, depending on the age bracket — in the park.
It turns out his plane had been delayed returning from St. Petersburg, where he received a prize for his career at the Message to Man festival.

“I’ve got quite a lot going on at the moment,” he said, obviously disappointed to have missed his daughter’s debut.
Perez has just finished directing “Alone in Berlin,” a WWII drama starring Emma Thompson, out next year, and is touring with “Les Liaisons Dangereuses,” in which he plays Valmont.
Next week, Perez will participate in the first Mérignac photography festival in the southwest of France, in which his works feature alongside those of JR and Bettina Rheims.
Viard’s daughter also appeared in the show, which closed with a performance by prima ballerina Marie-Agnès Gillot, who danced in demi-pointes, in keeping with the youthful theme.
Testud, attending the show with her son, said she had just that day finished filming “Le Correspondant” by Jean-Michel Ben Soussan, with Charles Berling, and will soon start shooting a film adaptation of comic strip “Tamara.”
De la Fressange, a regular guest at Bonpoint’s shows, said she continues to follow the brand despite her two girls now being almost grown.
“You just have to buy the ‘large’ size in the teen line,” she advised.
As the sun went down in the pink-hued sky over the Jardin de Luxembourg, guests went back into the show venue, which had been cleared to give way for vintage games, donning papier-mâché animal masks and eating cotton candy before dancing to tunes from up-and-coming music duo Papooz. They performed a set from their forthcoming album, including current single “Ann Wants to Dance.”
