Ralph Lauren Corp. on Tuesday said it plans to open in April a new 2,800-square-foot Polo Ralph Lauren store in São Paulo, strengthening the company’s commitment to the region. The store, which will be devoted to men, reflects Ralph Lauren’s goal of building the Polo brand’s presence globally. Located on the ground floor of Iguatemi São Paulo, the upscale shopping center that underwent at $14.5 million facelift several years ago, the Polo Ralph Lauren unit will feature men’s apparel, footwear, accessories and leather goods as well as details and furnishings that explore the expansive world of Ralph Lauren. The store will have a contemporary, cool vibe inspired by rustic and modern American images, from weather-worn mountains to a downtown loft’s industrial architecture.
