Rent the Runway, which has made a lot of big hires this year to support its fast-growing rental service, added a couple of new fresh faces to its executive team today.
Scarlett O’Sullivan has been named chief financial officer while Maureen Sullivan was tapped as the president of the company’s events business. O’Sullivan was formerly a partner at SoftBank Capital, where she headed growth stage investments, and Sullivan was president of AOL.com and LifeStyle brands. Both will report to Jennifer Hyman, cofounder and chief executive officer of Rent the Runway.
Beth Kaplan, who served as president and chief operating officer until this point, will step down from her day-to-day duties. She will have a strategic advisory role and remain on the company’s board.
