Revlon has added two megacelebrities to its Hollywood-heavy global brand ambassador roster: actresses Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde.
As global brand ambassadors, each of the actresses will appear in multimedia TV, print, in-store and digital ad campaigns. Revlon said Stone and Wilde will first appear in campaigns scheduled for early 2012 tied in with a new color cosmetics line and new nail enamel products. Both have also committed to take part in Revlon’s philanthropic efforts, Revlon said.
Stone and Wilde join a glamour group that includes Kate Hudson, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry and Elle MacPherson.
Alan Ennis, Revlon’s president and chief executive officer, said the duo personifies the Revlon woman, someone who is “glamorous, confident and bold.”
Gucci Westman, Revlon’s global artistic director, who has worked with both Stone and Wilde in the past, said both “embody strength, beauty and femininity. Emma is so classic in a Grace Kelly real movie star way and she is an amazing actress as well. Olivia has the most unbelievably beautiful eyes and she is also cool and intelligent. I cannot wait for everyone to see our new Revlon campaigns.” Westman is creating the beauty looks for the actresses’ Revlon first campaigns. To tease consumers, in the months and weeks leading up to the debut of the campaigns, which are scheduled to debut at the time products hit shelves in early 2012, Revlon Facebook fans and Twitter followers will receive exclusive sneak peeks of the looks.
Revlon said that between the two actresses, they have already appeared on more than 15 magazine covers this year. Stone can currently be seen in the movie “Crazy Stupid Love.” She also stars in “The Help,” which enters theaters today. Past projects include “Easy A,” “Zombieland” and “Superbad.” Wilde can currently be seen in “Cowboys and Aliens” and “The Change-Up.” She is perhaps best known for her co-starring role as Dr. Remy “Thirteen” Hadley in the TV series “House M.D.”
