Sara Lee Names Heid Sr. VP

CHICAGO — Joseph Heid has been named a senior vice president of Sara Lee Corp. and adds to his responsibilities Sara Lee Hosiery North and South America.

Formerly a corporate vice president, Heid continues as president and chief executive officer of the Pacific Rim-personal products segment. He also continues to direct the financial and strategic planning activities for the personal products sector at Sara Lee.

Heid’s hosiery responsibilities were previously under Jack Ward, a senior vice president who handles Sara Lee knit products and the company’s catalog business.

Based in Chicago, Heid continues to report to Donald Franceschini, executive vice president of Sara Lee Corp.
