Pop & Suki cofounders Suki Waterhouse and Poppy Jamie are extending their reach into a new category of accessories — luggage.
The duo — who launched their brand in September — have partnered with luggage start-up Away on a line of suitcases.
The collection — filled with pink trolleys — is set to launch online and at Away’s concept store today. The collection is priced from $225 to $295. It includes two carry-on sizes, as well as a medium and large suitcase.
Pop & Suki cofounder Jamie said of the collection: “There are two things Suki and I really agree on — we love to travel but are possibly the most disorganized travelers. The amount of times we have arrived back from an adventure realizing we left our favorite sweater, bikini or even toothbrush behind is uncountable. We were running through São Paulo airport, about to miss our flight, carrying four hand bags each and in that moment, Suki shouted, ‘We need to make suitcases!’
“The idea came to life after meeting Steph and Jen at Away. We are so excited about this collaboration. Away luggage is the dream — light and spacious, can fit everything in [it], and now in pastel pink. Bring on the next travels, they are looking more organized than ever.”
Added Away cofounder Jen Rubio: “Every time I found myself traveling with Suki and Poppy, they couldn’t say enough about their love for the Away bags they travel with. Likewise, I found myself never able to leave for a trip without my Pop & Suki camera bag. That’s when the idea for the collaboration was born — the perfect pairing of two travel essentials.”
