Suno is the latest ready-to-wear brand to get bit by the accessories bug.
On Wednesday, designers Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty will make their first foray into footwear at the runway show for their spring collection. “We wanted to create a city shoe that felt inspired yet functional — playful, but still easy,” Beatty said. “Like our clothes, we wanted the shoes to carry you through the day — stylishly and comfortably. Not too dainty, not too pointy, not too fierce, but somehow making just the right statement.” The new category comes after eleven seasons of collaborations with Nicholas Kirkwood for the brand’s runway show.
The collection will consist of five styles, including heels, flats and printed sneakers. Each style — all done in leather — will be shown in multiple colorways, with the sneakers done in two new Suno prints and three colors. The Italian-produced shoes will later be available at sunony.com, with other retailers to be confirmed, with price points ranging from $395 to $695.
