Tailored Brands Inc. has named Dinesh Lathi non-executive chairman.
Lathi succeeds William Sechrest, who will stay on the board and serve on his current committees.
Lathi joined the board in March 2016 and is a member of its audit and compensation committees. He has an extensive background in finance and the consumer digital space. The men’s wear retailer said Lathi was also the former chief executive officer of One Kings Lane, and before that spent seven years in different executive roles at eBay Inc. He also worked in investment banking and in private equity.
Sechrest said Lathi has “brought enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to our board in addition to his extensive expertise in e-commerce.”
Tailored Brands also said in a regulatory filing earlier this month that Allen I. Questrom, a director on the board, has told the board of his decision not to stand for reelection as a director. His term is slated to expire on the date of the firm’s 2017 annual meeting of shareholders.
The filing, a Form 8-L with the Securities and Exchange Commission, said Questrom declined to stand for reelection for personal reasons and not because of any disagreement with the board or with the company’s management.
The firm’s brands include Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Joseph Abboud, Moores Clothing for Men and K&G.
