PARIS — Wolford continues reinforcing its team.
Following the appointment of Grit Seymour as creative director in November, the Austria hosiery brand has tapped Ashish Sensarma as chief executive officer, effective Jan. 7.
Sensarma, who is replacing Holger Dahmen, will oversee the corporate strategy, including marketing and sales, and work closely with Axel Dreher, who has been named deputy chief executive officer in addition to his role as the company’s chief operation officer “to guarantee the continuity in the management of the company,” Wolford said on Thursday.
Dahmen left the Bregenz-based firm earlier this year after 10 years at its helm.
Having spent more than 20 years at Dutch fashion brand Mexx, where he worked his way up from operations manager for the U.S. to vice president of consumer sales, Sensarma joined French swimwear label Vilebrequin in 2008 as coo and most recently served as advisor to the ceo at Rituals Home and Body Cosmetics, according to his LinkedIn profile.
