MILAN — Fashion and luxury Internet retailer Yoox SpA has tapped Enrico Cavatorta as chief financial and corporate officer, effective April 27.
Cavatorta is joining Yoox after 15 years at eyewear giant Luxottica, where he began as chief financial officer and worked his way up to co-chief executive officer of corporate functions, a position he held from 2011. Prior to Luxottica he had worked at Procter & Gamble Italy, McKinsey & Company and Piaggio Group.
In his new role, Cavatorta will oversee Yoox’s administration; finance and control; corporate development and investor relations; legal and corporate affairs; risk management and compliance, and general services, reporting to Yoox founder and ceo Federico Marchetti. On May 1, Cavatorta will also assume responsibility for preparing Yoox’s financial statements.
