Esq Clothing, a bespoke and custom tailor that is popular with professional athletes, has launched its first e-commerce site.

The launch comes shortly after the opening of the Chicago-based men’s brand’s first bricks-and-mortar location at 555 West Jackson Boulevard, in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Esq, which offers custom suits, shirts and shoes as well as a selection of ready-to-wear targeted to the modern, athletic man, counts around 100 clients from the National Basketball Association and the National Football Association.

Most recently, Matt Forte, a former player with the Chicago Bears who is now with the New York Jets, and the rock ‘n’ roll band Fall Out Boy have been sighted wearing both bespoke and ready-to-wear looks from the brand.

According to Ge Wang, founder, president and creative director of Esq Clothing, the e-commerce site, which is focused on the ready-to-wear offering, is designed to provide a convenient shopping experience to the company’s current customers while expanding the brand’s reach beyond Chicago since the site can service men throughout the country.

“Esq Clothing defines the importance and the luxury of a properly fitting suit,” Wang said. “We are honored and humbled to expand our success into an e-commerce experience. Rolling out our ready-to-wear collection allows men all over to attain the luxury of a properly fitting suit.”

The site, whose homepage touts Gentleman Redefined: Premium Tailored Menswear offers a two-button, notch lapel navy suit for $799, a double-breasted windowpane sport coat for $649, a floral tie for $169 and a twill dress shirt for $159.
