“Modern Family” actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, have created a limited-edition bow tie to celebrate the 2015 Tony Awards, which broadcasts live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 7.
The bow tie, which is from Ferguson and Mikita’s “Tie The Knot For The Tie Bar” collection, features light navy stars on a darker navy background and retails for $25 on Thetiebar.com.
“I’m so excited that Tie The Knot is partnering again for theater’s biggest night — all for a great cause,” Ferguson said.
Tie The Knot is a nonprofit organization founded by Ferguson that raises awareness for LGBT equality. He’s worked with The Tie Bar on this line of bow ties since 2012. Sales from the Tony bow tie will benefit U.S. organizations that support LGBT civil rights.
The Tie Bar also collaborates with NBA star Dwyane Wade on a line of neckwear.
