John Kammeier has joined Nick Graham as executive vice president of sales and merchandising, a newly created position, effective today.
Kammeier most recently served as president of Randa Accessories, where he oversaw neckwear and jewelry. His background also includes vice president of merchandising for SFI Apparel/Arnold Brant and merchandise manager of Britches of Georgetown. He also worked for Neiman Marcus and Woodward & Lothrop early in his career, according to his LinkedIn page.
Graham, an award-winning designer and the founder of Joe Boxer, said Kammeier’s “many years of experience in the men’s wear industry will bring a depth of knowledge that we need to take the company to the next level.”
“Nick’s vision of where men’s wear is going is perfectly in alignment with my own, and the opportunity is enormous,” Kammeier said.
NGL, Graham’s operating company, was launched in 2013 and produces dress shirts and neckwear under license from NGX, which is owned in partnership with the Iconix Brand Group. NGX also licenses tailored clothing to Lanier Clothing and the company expects to extend its reach into other licensed categories in the near future. Chuck Hellman is president of NGL.
Graham said 2016 “is going to be a big year for the company. My vision to create a complete men’s wear and lifestyle collection will go to a whole new level this year.”
The Nick Graham brand is sold in better department stores around the country as well as online.
