Tommy Hilfiger will once again feature Rafael Nadal, the brand’s global men’s wear ambassador, in its fall underwear campaign. The ads were shot by Mikael Jansson in Palm Springs, Calif., and styled by Sean Spellman.
Nadal, the 30-year-old tennis star who is regarded as the top clay-court player in history, is ranked fourth in the world. He has won 14 Grand Slam singles titles, the 2008 Olympic gold medal in singles, 28 titles in the ATP World Tour Masters 100 events and 17 ATP World Tour 500 tournaments (a record tied with Roger Federer).
The collection is available at select Tommy Hilfiger stores and wholesale partners, a well as online at tommy.com.
The men’s underwear collection refreshes classic styles with updated fits and elevated details. Premium microfiber and cotton fabrics are used. The fall collection also features Hilfiger’s new signature stripe, which brings the brand’s red, white and navy palette to all products.
This marks the third season that Hilfiger has spotlighted Nadal in his advertising. The Spanish-born tennis star will appear in ads for underwear, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored and fragrance. The collaboration began with a pop-up tennis event in Bryant Park in New York in August and continued with the launch of the ThFlex Rafael Nadal Edition tailored capsule, which returns in the fall with a new campaign and product offering.
