Scion is tapping into Stampd.
The Toyota-owned car brand has collaborated with Chris Stamp, founder of the men’s and women’s lifestyle brand Stampd, on two new commercials and looks for Scion’s product specialists.
The digital commercials feature the auto brand’s new iM 5-door hatchback model alongside a male and female model wearing minimal looks from the California-based brand. These looks, a bomber jacket and matching jogger pants, will also be worn by Scion’s product specialists during the 2015-16 auto show season.
“I wanted to keep the palette for the collection muted so the clothes complement the cars,” Stamp said. “The details are understated, but looking closely you can see how intricate each piece is, adding a modern approach to conventional specialist wear.”
Stampd was one of the four brands selected for GQ’s 2015 Best New Menswear Designers in America program. The company, which is self-described as an “avant-street lifestyle brand” is stocked in Harvey Nichols, Collette and Revolve.
