For the past few years, the “mankle” was everywhere, making it acceptable — well, at least for some — to wear formal footwear with no socks and cropped trousers. But last season the sock made a triumphant return as the British dandy influence and the relaxed vibe of baggy cropped trousers helped the accessory reemerge in bright colors, exploded graphics and animal prints.
