The roster for New York Men’s Day in July has been finalized.
The sixth edition of the biannual presentations of emerging brands will begin New York Fashion Week: Men’s on July 11. The Council of Fashion Designers of America’s shows will start the next day and run through July 14. That schedule is expected to be released this week.
New York Men’s Day, organized by Agentry PR and presented by Cadillac, will be held once again at Industria Superstudio, 775 Washington Street in Greenwich Village. Six designers will show in a two-hour time frame in the morning and six others will present in the late afternoon. Participating designers are Chapter, David Hart, David Naman, Krammer & Stoudt, Maiden Noir, Max ‘n Chester, Plac, Private Policy, Rideau, Robert James, Uri Minkoff and Wood House.
Erin Hawker, who founded Agentry in 2010, said New York Men’s Day offers “a platform for both emerging designers and established brands that brings all of the men’s wear industry together. Watching the designers grow and heighten exposure for the newcomers is truly a rewarding experience.”
Liberty Fairs will feature an exclusive showcase of the designers during its trade show on Pier 94 from July 10-12.
In addition to Cadillac, which is planning activations and programming to increase exposure to the emerging men’s designers, NYMD is sponsored by Oribe, which will provide hair services; Black Tie, which will supply make-up products; Johnston & Murphy, which will install an interactive footwear installation on site, and American Woolens, which will create a collaborative installation.
