Comfort was key at Casamadre’s first ready-to-wear show, which the label’s creative duo, David Parisi and Alessia Crea, introduced at Pitti Uomo. Light and loose suit options dominated the small yet well-studied collection.
Giving off an air of laid-back chic, the styles came with roomy bottoms and lapel-less jackets, some of which were cut long to resemble gentlemen’s car coats. They were elegant yet remained airy.
Other options, equally suitable for day and night, were nonchalantly belted at the waist, feeding into the lineup’s relaxed mood, while for the sportier type, the Italian duo proposed sleeveless vests with T-shirts.
With the sober color palette — brick-red, light gray, cream and black — it remains to be seen how the collection, which started in footwear, will grow from here.
