Le Labo and Hiro Clark have introduced what they are calling the No Shower Tee, which is a T-shirt infused with Le Labo’s fragrance Santal 33. Microcapsules of the fragrance are woven into the fabric and hold the scent up to six washes and can be released by rubbing the fabric to open the capsules.
“I wear Santal 33 every day. It’s natural that my Ts would, too,” said Andy Salzer, founder of Hiro Clark.
The limited edition T-shirts, which retail for $128, features messages such as “I Woke Up Smelling Like This” and “Disappear Here” along with a smoke graphic. They will be available exclusively on Hiro Clark’s e-commerce site, at select Le Labo locations in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London and Berlin on Nov. 17.
This is the second time the brand has partnered with Le Labo on a scented T-shirt collection. Earlier this year it teamed up with Equinox on a limited-edition capsule collection of T-shirts.
Salzer founded Hiro Clark in 2012 after moving to California from New York. The T-shirts, which are carried at retailers including Ron Herman, Equinox and American Rag Cie, are 100 percent cotton and produced in limited runs of 12 for each design.
