MILAN – Brooks Brothers is the official sponsor of the USA Pavilion at Expo 2015, which Milan is hosting through October. The American exhibition space is built around the theme “American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet.”

The fashion company will dress 120 student ambassadors from top U.S. universities at the event, outfitting them with classic Brooks Brothers button-down shirts and blue blazers, as well as limited-edition silk ties and scarves with the USA Pavilion flag logo; the garments were all manufactured in the U.S.

In addition, Brooks Brothers is dressing the staff at the Seven Stars Galleria hotel’s James Beard American Restaurant, tucked inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, as well as the USA Pavilion’s Food Truck Nation team. Restaurant workers will be decked out in red-and-white checked shirts, blue ties and denim aprons.

“This is a historic, significant event and we feel strongly allied with Expo’s mission to highlight the American innovators who influence and shape our culture on a global scale,” said Brooks Brothers chairman and chief executive officer Claudio Del Vecchio.

Select Brooks Brothers Expo items — such as ties, hats and denim aprons — will be on sale at the USA Pavilion and at Brooks Brothers’ Milan flagship in Via San Pietro All’Orto.
