Galet is taking a road trip East.
The French luxury loafer brand will launch Tour de Galet, a mobile pop-up store that will travel through the Hamptons and Montauk this summer starting Memorial Day weekend.
The store, which will be housed in a vintage Citröen H-Van from the 1940s, will be stocked with the brand’s signature loafers and an interactive environment for customers.
“We are excited to introduce Tour de Galet to the Hamptons, particularly as we have developed a strong clientele along the East Coast. Tour de Galet is a natural extension of the interactive customer experience that we strive for and encompasses the element of discovery that characterizes our brand,” said Jonathan Horemans, Galet’s cofounder.
Galet is known for its playful loafers that are handmade in an atelier in France and range from $195 to $395. The brand doesn’t have any stores in the U.S., but it’s stocked at men’s clothing store Doyle & Mueser in New York City and resort boutique SunBarth in Southampton, N.Y.
