The Men’s Wearhouse Inc. has named Ben Baum to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief digital officer. He will report to Doug Ewert, chief executive officer.
Baum will lead all digital and omnichannel commerce and initiatives across digital, mobile and emerging platforms for the retailer and its brands, which include Men’s Wearhouse, Moores, Joseph Abboud and K&G.
“Ben has an incredible track record developing and leading digital operations in the fashion retail industry,” Ewert said. “His knowledge, experience, insight and innovation will help us chart an exciting new direction for our company. Ben’s breadth of experience will be a tremendous asset as we leverage technology to provide an engaging customer service experience across all channels.”
Baum was formerly chief digital officer of Bebe Stores Inc., head of business development, multichannel retail and shopping for Google Inc., and has also held several merchandising positions at Target.
