Ministry of Supply has raised $1.5 million in funding from a mix of new and existing investors, which brings its total funding to $6 million.
The Boston-based men’s wear line, which launched in 2012, sells apparel with performance qualities. The collection is priced from $15 to $148.
“We’ve seen an explosive demand for clothing that provides both purpose and value. The modern man’s wardrobe needs to have a certain aesthetic, but also a superior performance that caters to an active lifestyle. We’re excited about the support from investors as we look to build out the in-person component of our brand,” said Aman Advani, Ministry of Supply’s president and cofounder.
According to Advani, the money will help expand the brand’s retail presence. Ministry of Supply currently operates stores in Boston and San Francisco.
