Alfred Dunhill is launching its Dunhill Links golf collection in North America and has named John Hudson as managing director of the region to oversee sales and marketing for the brand.
Dunhill said it will “utilize operational resources from Peter Millar,” another Richemont-owned brand with a strong presence in the golf world, to help the brand extend its reach in high-end resorts, golf and country clubs in North America.
“John brings a wealth of experience in the luxury goods space along with an extensive history in high-end golf that will uniquely qualify him to establish Dunhill Links as the premier luxury golf brand,” said Fabrizio Cardinali, chief executive officer of Alfred Dunhill. “The partnership with Peter Millar will position the Dunhill Links brand perfectly for sales and distribution growth in the U.S. market with a focus on green-grass accounts, and is fully aligned with our wider business strategy.”

Dunhill Links has been distributed in the U.K. for more than 30 years.
