The Izod Tour + golf apparel line is now available to the general public.
On Thursday, PVH Corp., owner of the Izod brand, said the collection is now for sale at select Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy stores. The collection was previewed by Izod-sponsored athlete Webb Simpson at the 2015 Masters Tournament last month.
The collection is targeted to the serious golfer and offers sun protection, odor elimination and temperature control along with a roll-resistant collar, wicking and stretch. The shirts also feature Swing-Flex, a panel system designed to enhance range of motion.
“Izod Tour + represents our ongoing commitment to providing golfers with premium products that feature the latest technologies at a great value,” said Geoff Barrett, president of Heritage Brands Sportswear for PVH. He added that this also mark Izod’s first collection to be carried at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
“As a golfer, what you wear is extremely important because you’re in it all day and you want it to feel right when you swing,” said Simpson.
The polos are offered in piques, interlocks and jersey all made from recycled polyester. The line also includes shorts and pants with stretch, moisture-wicking and sun-control qualities.
The shirts retail for $45 to 55 and the pants for $50 to $60.
