Perry Ellis International has entered into a licensing deal with Multimoda Import Inc. and Comercio Excelente Norte Sur De CV for a variety of men’s wear categories in select countries in Central and South America, the Caribbean and Mexico.
The deal covers men’s and boys’ dress shirts, knit tops, woven tops, pants, sport jackets, shorts, jeans, swim trunks, vests and outerwear that are sold as a collection in sportswear departments under the Perry Ellis name in better department and upscale specialty stores. Multimoda started carrying the collection at the end of last year.

Multimoda Import is a marketer, distributor and retailer in Mexico and Latin America that has been in business for 25 years. In 2006, it became the official distributor in Mexico for PVH Corp. which helped Multimoda become the largest distributor in Mexico for dress shirts and ties. It works with the labels Calvin Klein, Van Heusen, Geoffrey Beene, Arrow, Michael Kors, Chaps, Donald Trump, Kenneth Cole and Izod, among others.
