Monica Edwards has joined Prospect Brands, the North Carolina-based holding company of Duck Head, Gyde and Crittenden, as chief marketing officer.
Edwards, whose background includes Saks Fifth Avenue, Vera Bradley, Churchill Downs and, most recently, Doe-Anderson, a Kentucky-based marketing agency, will be responsible for leading the brand’s global marketing efforts and will report to Prospect Brands’ president and chief executive officer, Tom Nolan.
“Monica comes to Prospect Brands with a solid track record of growing global luxury brands, engaging consumers and driving sales,” said Nolan.
“Prospect Brands offers the opportunity to elevate a diverse portfolio of authentic clothing brands including Duck Head, Crittenden and Gyde. Growing these brands among a team of unparalleled talent is something I’ve been preparing for my entire career,” said Edwards.
Prospect Brands LLC is a partnership between Nolan and McCarthy Capital Fund V, an Omaha-based private equity firm.
