Southern Tide has two collaborations on the way with sneaker brand SeaVees and skin-care brand Fulton & Roark.
Both collaborations are firsts for the Greenville, S.C.-based coastal lifestyle brand. The Southern Tide x SeaVees collection is comprised of five sneaker styles for men and women, ranging in price from $88 to $128.
The Fulton & Roark fragrance, made in collaboration with the travel-friendly men’s grooming and fragrance brand, is a cologne scent with notes of evergreen, fresh citrus, clove and white musk, and retails for $65.
The two collaborations allow for the Oxford Industries-owned brand to expand on its footwear and grooming offerings. Southern Tide offers apparel and swimwear for men, women and children, as well as accessories and apparel for colleges and universities such as Florida State, Georgia Tech, Alabama and LSU. The brand also offers flip-flops called Flipjacks and fragrance for men.
“The first time we met [SeaVees chief executive officer and chief designer] Steven Tiller we were drawn to the brand’s background and identity, and loved the California culture they bring to every design. We knew we could create something really special for our customers by joining forces,” said Southern Tide ceo Christopher Heyn. “In addition, after hearing great things about Fulton & Roark, we were able to meet cofounder Kevin Keller and learned about their forward-thinking and the uniqueness of their award-winning products.”
Southern Tide, which was acquired by Oxford Industries 2016, recently launched a capsule collection with Hawaiian surf brand Reyn Spooner that included shirts with quick-dry technology, UV protection and moisture-wicking capabilities. Also, SeaVees this year opened its first flagship store in Santa Barbara.
