Saturdays NYC is growing its global presence.
The New York-based lifestyle brand will open its second Australian flagship, which will be located in Melbourne, on Nov. 30. Saturdays NYC currently operates a store in Sydney on Bondi Beach, which it opened last year.
“We love coming to Australia,” said Saturdays NYC cofounder Colin Tunstall. “Melbourne offers a different feeling than other parts of the country that we have visited thus far. The busy streets like Bourke reminded us a little of New York City. The appreciation for good coffee and the similar aesthetics made us feel like this would be a great fit.”
The store will be designed by Akin Creative, the team behind Saturdays NYC’s Bondi Beach shop and will be stocked with the full Saturdays NYC collection, which includes apparel, footwear, grooming products and accessories. The 800-square-foot shop will also serve coffee made from Sydney’s Artificer and Melbourne’s Everyday Coffee beans.
Saturdays NYC currently has two New York City locations in addition to four boutiques in Japan. Its most recent opening was in Osaka, Japan. The brand is also eyeing Los Angeles, London and Paris.
