The outcome was a lineup of beautifully dramatic gowns done in lace, tulle and ornate embroidery on everything from traditional princess styles to sexy mermaid shapes. The showstopper was the finale — a straight column in allover beading in an Art Deco pattern, with beaded fringe and layers of sheer chiffon.
