Inspired by a Parisian drawing room with crystal chandeliers, the design team at Oleg Cassini focused on traditional silhouettes that were heavy on embellishment. Most gowns featured hand-embroidered lace brushed with crystal accents or floral appliqués, providing ample glitz for a princess bride, while a series of tea-length dresses channeled a more playful spirit. Throughout, there were nods to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the house’s most famed client, via pearl necklaces, tiaras, satin gloves, corsages and white sunglasses.
