Acra draped her brides in cascading pink and white flowers, even weaving them through their hair with battery-operated lights. (The collection was dubbed “Let There Be Light.”) Ornate corsets and embroidered lace tops worn with voluminous silk taffeta ball skirts heightened the drama, while sexy, sheer-illusion dresses showed off Acra’s signature, lavish embroidery.
