Always one to embrace a theme wholeheartedly, Don O’Neill worked the Mongolian bride in the country’s snowcapped Altai mountains with a variety of cold-weather looks. He showed cozy sweater dresses, several with turtlenecks, tweed overcoats and Mongolian fur shawls. The designer typically riffs on his Irish heritage, and, this season, he did it with a fisherman-knit gown in cashmere by Naadam, the socially responsible company. Elsewhere, the wintery theme came via sparkle and crystal beading for gowns, though, on a few models, the dangling, bejeweled headbands — think icicles — were a distraction.
